How to Get to The British Music Experience?

The British Music Experience is located in the heart of Liverpool’s iconic waterfront, within the historic Cunard Building. It’s easy to reach by car, train, bus, and even by boat!

The main visitor entrance is on Canada Boulevard, directly opposite the Mersey Ferry terminal. For visitors with special mobility needs, there is an accessible entrance on Brunswick Street.

The closest train stations are James Street and Moorfields on the Merseyrail network, both of which are a short, flat walk away. If you are arriving at Liverpool Lime Street station, you can take a quick 3-minute train journey on Merseyrail to James Street, or enjoy a 15-20 minute walk through the city centre to the waterfront.

All major bus routes into Liverpool city centre terminate at or near the Liverpool ONE bus station. From there, it’s just a short walk along the waterfront.

Follow signs for the “Waterfront,” “Albert Dock,” and “Mersey Ferries.” Access to the Cunard Building is via Brunswick Street.

There is limited on-street metered parking available on both Brunswick Street and Water Street. There are also several public car parks within a short walking distance, including the Liverpool ONE car parks and others on nearby side streets. Please note that on-street parking is a paid service and charges apply.
